Raid Alerts
Detect join-rate spikes, alert your team and optionally auto-lock the server until the wave passes.
Raid Alerts warns you the moment a join spike looks like a raid — dozens of accounts pouring in within seconds — before they start spamming.
How it works
The bot counts how many members join each server inside a rolling window. When the count reaches your threshold within that window, it posts one raid alert to the Raid alerts logging category. It fires once per wave (the window resets after an alert), so a real raid won't flood you with notifications. Tracking is per server — every server in your network is watched independently.
Settings
Enable the plugin on the Plugins page, then configure:
- Trigger threshold (joins) — how many joins within the window count as a spike (3–100). Default 10.
- Window (seconds) — the rolling time window joins are counted over (5–600). Default 60.
- Auto-lockdown — on a spike, raise the server's verification level to High until you lift it. Best-effort: needs the Manage Server permission, otherwise the alert notes it couldn't.
Choosing a threshold
- Small / quiet servers: a low threshold (e.g. 5 joins in 30s) catches even a modest raid.
- Large / promoted servers: raise it (e.g. 20 joins in 60s) so a shout-out or a stream going live doesn't trip it.
Start loose, watch for a week, then tighten.
Where the alerts go
Alerts use the Raid alerts logging category. Route it to a channel your team watches on the Logging page — or hit Auto-create channels there to get a dedicated raid-alerts channel set up automatically.
Layer it with the rest
Raid Alerts is the early-warning layer. For full raid defense, combine it with the account-age filter (gates brand-new accounts), Scam Guard (behavioural anti-raid), the honeypot (traps auto-posting bots) and network-wide bans (one ban across every server).
