Starboard

A community-run hall of fame. When a message collects enough star reactions, the bot copies it to a channel of your choice. Stars on any server in your network land in that one channel.

Set it up

1. Enable Starboard in the Plugin Market.
2. On the Starboard page, pick the starboard channel, the emoji and the threshold.

The default is ⭐ and a threshold of 3 (you can pick 1–50).

What gets posted

The repost carries the original author, the message text (up to 2,000 characters), the first attached image, and a jump link back to the original. A line above it shows the star count and the source channel; the count updates as more people react.

Good to know

• Every matching reaction counts, including the author's own.
• A message is on the starboard at most once. If its stars drop below the threshold, the repost is removed — and it comes back if the threshold is reached again.
• Reactions inside the starboard channel itself are ignored.
• Private channels are never reposted. If @everyone can't see a channel, its messages stay there, no matter how many stars they get. Staff chats don't end up in a public highlight channel.
• NSFW channels are only reposted if the starboard channel is marked NSFW too.
• Threads follow their parent channel. Private threads are never reposted.
• Pick an emoji your server actually uses. A custom emoji works, but it has to be from a server the bot can see. Custom emoji are matched by name.

Requirements: Send Messages and Embed Links in the starboard channel, and Read Message History where people react.
