What is a project?
A self-contained configuration of a main server, sub-servers and rules.
A project is a self-contained configuration: one main server, its sub-servers, a set of role rules, an optional log channel, the plugins you switch on and per-project behavior settings.
How many sub-servers a project can have besides its main server depends on its plan:
| Plan | Sub-servers | Plugins you choose |
|---|---|---|
| Node (free) | 3 | 5 |
| Link | 5 | 10 |
| Network | 15 | no limit |
| Grid | unlimited | no limit |
Plugins are switched on per project in the Plugin Market. The ones CloudMod turns on for you during setup don't count towards that number.
A project doesn't have to be a network. Pick Single server when you create it: one Discord server, no sub-servers and no cross-server sync. A single-server project always runs live — there's nothing to sync, so there's no test mode.
You can run as many projects in parallel as you like — for example one for your roleplay community, one for your esports team. They're completely independent, and each one has its own plan — see How a subscription finds its network.
