Channel automations
Auto-react to every post in a channel, and optionally open a thread on each one.
Per-channel rules that run on every new message. Two actions today:
- auto-react with one or more emoji,
- auto-thread — create a thread on each post, so replies don't bury the next one.
Typical uses: a showcase channel where every image gets a ⭐, or an introductions channel where each post gets its own discussion thread.

Set it up
- Enable Channel Automations in the Plugin Market. You'll then find it in the sidebar under Automation › Channel Automations.
- Add a rule: pick the channel, the emoji, and whether a thread should be created.
- Optionally set a fixed thread name (up to 100 characters). Leave it empty and each thread is named after the first line of the post.
Good to know
- Rules can be set for text and announcement channels on your main server.
- Each channel can have one rule, with up to 5 emoji separated by spaces.
- Rules fire on every message in that channel, including short ones. Use a channel where that's what you want. Messages from bots and webhooks are ignored.
- Custom emoji must come from a server the bot is in.
- If an emoji can't be used or a permission is missing, the bot skips that step silently.
- A thread per post adds up — Discord archives inactive threads, but a very busy channel will still fill the list.
