Channel mirror
Copy messages from one channel into others — across servers, with edits and deletes.
Announce once, appear everywhere. A mirror watches a source channel and re-posts everything into one channel on each other server you pick. Targets are always on a different server in your network, one channel per server.
Beta — tested, but still young.
Set it up
Mirroring needs at least one sub-server.
- Enable Channel Mirror in the Plugin Market (on by default).
- On the Channel Mirror page (Automation › Channel Mirror), click New mirror, give it a name, then pick the source channel and one or more targets.
- Mirror attachments and Mirror embeds are on by default. Attachments are forwarded as links. Switch Active off to pause a mirror without deleting it.
How it looks
Mirrored messages are posted through a webhook, so they keep the original author's name and avatar instead of all looking like they came from a bot.
For 14 days after posting, editing the original edits the copies and deleting it deletes them.
Targets must be your own
Both the source and every target must belong to your network. A channel from someone else's server is rejected when you save, and the bot won't resolve it either.
Good to know
- Messages are copied, not moved — the original stays.
- Messages from bots and webhooks are not mirrored, and neither are thread messages.
- @everyone and role mentions never ping in copies; user mentions in normal-length copies do.
- On Node and Link, mirrored messages get a small "via CloudMod" line. Network and Grid don't, and neither does a network with the Branding Pack, on any plan.
- Long messages arrive in full. Discord caps bot and webhook messages at 2,000 characters — Nitro doesn't apply to bots. A longer post (up to 4,000 with Nitro) is mirrored as an embed instead, so nothing gets cut off and edits still sync. Mentions inside it don't ping.
- Edit and delete propagation is best-effort: if the copy was deleted manually, nothing happens.
Requirement: Manage Webhooks in every target channel.
