Temp voice channels
Join a lobby, get your own voice channel — with a control panel for its owner.
One lobby channel replaces a wall of half-empty voice rooms. Someone joins the lobby, CloudMod creates a personal channel and moves them in. When the last person leaves, it's deleted again.
Set it up
- Create a voice channel to act as the lobby (e.g. ➕ Join to create).
- Enable Temp Voice Channels in the Plugins market.
- On the Temp Voice page, add a lobby: the channel, the category new rooms land in, a name template and an optional user limit.
You can configure several lobbies with different presets — for example a two-person room and a full raid channel.
The owner panel
The person who created the channel owns it and gets a button panel:

The same actions exist as commands: /voice rename, /voice limit, /voice lock, /voice hide, /voice kick, /voice permit, /voice claim, /voice transfer.
Good to know
- Claim only works once the current owner has left — otherwise anyone could take over an occupied room.
- Channels are cleaned up on restart too: an empty temp channel doesn't survive a bot restart.
- Discord only lets a bot grant permissions it holds itself. CloudMod therefore needs Connect as well, or Lock and Permit fail as a whole.
