Sticky messages
Keep a note at the bottom of a channel — it re-posts itself whenever someone writes.
Channel rules that scroll away are rules nobody reads. A sticky message stays at the bottom: whenever someone posts, the bot deletes its old copy and posts the note again underneath.
Set it up
- Enable Sticky Messages in the Plugins market.
- On the Sticky Messages page, add a channel and the text that should stay there.
You can run several sticky messages at once — one per channel.
Good to know
- In a fast channel the sticky lags behind. The bot waits a moment before re-posting so it doesn't fight a running conversation; in a channel with constant traffic it may sit several messages up. That's a deliberate trade-off against spamming your channel.
- Editing the text takes effect on the next re-post, not immediately.
- Removing the entry deletes the current copy too.
Requirements: Send Messages and Manage Messages (to remove the previous copy) in the channel.
