Server profile

Give the bot its own nickname, avatar and banner on each server.

One bot, several communities — and each of them can see a different face. Useful when your network spans servers that have nothing to do with each other by name.

Alpha — new, not yet battle-tested.

Set it up

  1. Unlock Server Profile with the Branding Pack: a one-time purchase of $19.99 that covers this one network and also unlocks Branding. It is a separate add-on and not part of any plan, so Network and Grid don't include it either. The buy button is on the plugin's card in the Plugin Market and on its page. Then enable it in the Plugin Market. Your purchase stays with the network, whatever happens to your subscription.
  2. Open the Server Profile page, pick a server, and set a nickname, an avatar and a banner.
  3. Save. The bot applies it within about a minute.

What you can set

Nickname32 characters (Discord's limit)
Avatarany PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 8 MB

Images are resized on upload — you don't have to shrink anything yourself, and only the small result is stored.

Name rules

Some nicknames can't be used, because they would make the bot look like something it isn't. The bot also appears under CloudMod's name:

  • names that look like Discord, its staff or CloudMod itself, such as "Discord Support", "System", "Official" or "Mod Team"
  • hateful names and terms
  • politicians, parties and political movements, because CloudMod stays politically neutral

Spelling tricks like extra spaces, look-alike letters and numbers in place of letters are checked too. A plain "Support Bot" is fine.

Going back to the normal look

Reset to CloudMod look (on each server's card) clears the nickname, avatar and banner in one go. The bot actively removes them on Discord, and its normal CloudMod name and look apply on that server again. It also clears a nickname someone changed by hand in Discord.

To undo a single image instead, use the Remove button next to it.

Never set means "leave it alone"

A field you never filled in is not "reset" — it's "don't touch". The bot only changes what you set here, or what you explicitly reset or removed.

This is the opposite of how branding works, where an empty field falls through to the next level. Two similar-looking systems, opposite meanings — worth knowing before you wonder why nothing changed.

Good to know

  • Changing the bot's own nickname needs Change Nickname, not Manage Nicknames. Those are different permissions, and only the first one covers this.
  • Each field is applied separately, so a rejected banner doesn't take the nickname down with it. A field that failed is tried again the next time you save, when the bot restarts, or when it rejoins the server.

Requirement: Change Nickname.
