Timed roles

For everything that should end on its own: event access, a trial moderator, a giveaway winner's perk.

Commands

duration understands 30m, 12h, 7d, 2w.

remove takes the role back right away. To only cancel the timer and leave the role in place, say so in the command's option — the role then stays until someone removes it manually.

Settings

The Timed Roles page has two options:

• a default duration, so /temprole add can be used without typing one,
• log expiry — write a line to your log channel whenever a role runs out.

Good to know

• Expiry survives restarts: the deadline lives in the database, and CloudMod catches up on anything that expired while it was offline.
• The role must sit below the CloudMod role. Roles managed by an integration (Server Booster, Twitch subs) cannot be assigned by any bot.
• If the member left the server, the timer is simply dropped.
